RECOMMENDED PHOTO SESSION LOCATIONS

Selecting the proper location for your photo session can be challenging at times.  We have compiled a listing of different locations to provide you a variety of options.  This listing is not inclusive and is designed to assist you.  We will work with you to take photos at the location of your choice.  If you'd like further assistance in finding the right location, please call us.

Most Popular Locations:

Limington Rapids

Located off Route 25 between Standish and Limington, this location offers a variety of backdrops ranging from the Saco River to wooded areas.

 

Fort Williams Park

Located in Cape Elizabeth, Fort Williams provides a variety of backdrops including old forts to ocean scenes.  Portland Headlight is also located within the park.

 

Pineland

Located in Gray, Pineland offers a variety of backdrops from woodlands to ponds.

 

Other Locations:

 

The Old Port

Portland's Old Port offers a unique background for portrait sessions.  Sessions in the Old Port are best for senior sessions, engagement sessions, or even wedding portraits.  The backdrop in the Old Port ranges from city streets, parks, to old buildings.

 

University of Southern Maine - Gorham

The USM Campus in Gorham provides a great backdrop with wooded areas and stonewalls.

 

Bridgton Waterfall

Located a few miles off Route 302 this locations is a wooded area with a beautiful river and waterfall backdrop.  This area is not recommended for small children.

 

Railroad Tracks

The old abandoned railroad tracks off Rt. 114 in Standish offer an excellent backdrop for portrait sessions.

 

Steep Falls Pulp Mill

The remains of the old pulp mill along the Saco River offer a great backdrop for pictures. 

 

Mackworth Island

Located off Route 1 in Falmouth, Mackworth Island provides several background opportunities including ocean and woodland scenes.  Parking can be a challenge here depending on time of day and weather.

 

Pemaquid Point Park

Located off Route 1 in Damariscotta, Pemaquid Point Park provides a rocky coastal setting with photo opportunities both with an ocean and lighthouse backgrounds.  This location is not recommended for smaller children.  There is an entrance fee for this location, and an additional travel fee may apply.
