We appreciate the opportunity to keep you informed of the
latest news and events through this periodic e-newsletter.
The last time we wrote, we were getting ready to settle in for
a long winter. Now, two short months later, we are scratching
our heads and wondering what happened? So, we have given up
on winter and turned our attention to spring and the arrival
of Mother's Day on May 9th. To that end, this edition of
our newsletter will be primarily focused on the women in our

Mother's Day Gift Certificate

 Now
that spring is in the air, we are getting anxious to get back
outside for our portrait sessions. We suspect that there are many
moms who are anxious to get outside again, too. That's why this is
the perfect time to start thinking about Mother's Day, and how the
gift of an outdoor family portrait makes a unique and beautiful gift
mom will cherish for years to come.
Starting April 1st, we are making it easier to give mom the gift
of custom photography. From April 1st through April
7th, for each $50 gift certificate purchased, we will
give you an additional $10 for FREE. Then, the choice
is up to her when and how she wants to collect on her gift. Here
are some of the many ways she can do so:

Apple Blossom Session - We are so
lucky to have access to a beautiful, local apple orchard for our
portrait sessions. This year, we will be offering
special sessions during the height of apple blossom season.
(The specific time will be determined based on the trees, but
last year the peak blossom season was mid-May.) This would make
the perfect backdrop for mom's portrait.

Celebrate the Generations - Capturing
multiple generations in one portrait does not happen often and is
really something to cherish. This would be the perfect time to
capture something mom, likely, has wanted to do for a while.

Mommy and Me
- This is the perfect way for mom to celebrate who she is today
and her connection with her child(ren).

Women & Wine Get Better with Age! |
 One
of the new things we started offering this year is "Portrait
Parties" targeted to specific audiences. The first portrait
party we are offering is called "Women & Wine Get Better
with Age!"
The concept of this party is similar to other home-based parties
(e.g. Pampered Chef or Stampin' Up) where you invite friends to your
home, enjoy good food and great company, and you are introduced to a
new product or service. In this instance, the service you are
introduced to is us!
The "Women and Wine" party is designed to encourage women in
their 40s, 50s or 60s (or more!) to make time to celebrate how
fabulous they are. As a bonus, their amazing friends get to come

Now - here's where you can help us.
We have had requests to offer similar parties for the younger
ladies who want to capture their fabulous friendships, too. For
example, the high school friends who were separated for the
first year of college and have reunited over summer break. The
same would also work for the college friends who are getting
ready to graduate. Taking the time to record these special
friendships would be a very special gift for each other. The
variations on these reasons for doing it are endless. Now, all
we need is a great name for it.
The two most popular names that have been suggested to date are
"Girls Night In" and
"Framed Friendships". Which one do you prefer?

 While
we have had a lot of fun with our slate project over the last
several months, we are excited to announce our next
D-Photo Creations
project: accordion books. These books are the perfect size to throw
in your bag or back pack and carry around with you. Once you have
the basic technique mastered, the themes are endless: sports, new
babies, weddings, brag books for Mother's Day, and so on. To see

Our next class is scheduled for Sunday
afternoon, March 21st from 1-4 p.m. Class size is
limited to 4 students, and the cost for the class is $25. The
materials will be provided for you - all you need to do is bring
